1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Failure Log and Failure Log Elite, operated by Aryan Singh in India. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be legally capable of agreeing to these terms. If you are a minor, your parent or legal guardian must approve your use. You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding your login credentials, and activity performed through your account.

3. Fitness and Medical Disclaimer

Failure Log is a workout-recording and fitness-information tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. Exercise involves risk of injury. Consult a qualified medical professional before beginning or changing an exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition, injury, symptoms, or other health concern.

Stop exercising and seek appropriate help if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or other concerning symptoms. You remain responsible for deciding whether an exercise, weight, routine, or activity is appropriate for you.

4. Seven-Day Free Access

A new account may receive seven days of complimentary app access beginning when the account is created. This app-managed access does not require payment and does not automatically charge you when it ends. After it expires, a qualifying subscription or complimentary entitlement is required for locked features.

Any separate introductory offer displayed on the Apple purchase screen is governed by the terms shown by Apple at the time of purchase.

5. Failure Log Elite Subscriptions

• Monthly and annual subscriptions are purchased and billed through your Apple ID. The price and billing period shown in the app and Apple purchase confirmation apply.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel through your Apple ID subscription settings before the renewal deadline shown by Apple.
• When you cancel, paid access normally continues until the end of the current billing period. Cancellation stops future renewals and does not normally create an immediate refund.
• Apple controls billing, payment methods, taxes, cancellations, and refund decisions. Restore Purchase can be used for eligible purchases made with the same Apple ID.
• Deleting your Failure Log account or removing the app does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel it separately in Apple subscription settings.
• We may grant complimentary Elite access to selected accounts. Such access has no cash value and may be limited or withdrawn unless we expressly state otherwise.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Failure Log unlawfully, fraudulently, or to harm another person.
• Attempt to access another user's account or interfere with the app, servers, security, or subscription checks.
• Reverse engineer, copy, resell, scrape, or commercially exploit the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Upload malicious code or content that infringes another person's rights.

7. Your Content and Data

You retain ownership of workout and profile information you enter. You give us a limited permission to host, process, display, and synchronize that information only as needed to operate and improve Failure Log. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of information you provide.

8. App Content and Intellectual Property

Failure Log, including its design, software, branding, and original content, is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Exercise names, information, and media may come from third-party providers and remain subject to their respective rights. Your access is a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license.

9. Availability and Changes

We may modify, add, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain or improve the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, permanent availability of any particular exercise content, or compatibility with every device. We will use reasonable care when making changes that materially affect paid features.

10. Third-Party Services

Failure Log relies on services provided by Apple, Supabase, RevenueCat, and exercise-content providers. Their services and links are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages, decisions, or content beyond our reasonable control.

11. Suspension, Termination, and Deletion

You may stop using Failure Log or delete your account at any time. We may restrict or terminate access if you materially violate these terms, misuse the service, create security risk, or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

12. Disclaimers and Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Failure Log is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties not expressly required by law. We do not guarantee specific fitness outcomes or the accuracy of estimates and third-party exercise content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights, disputes will be handled by the courts with jurisdiction in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as Failure Log changes. The revised terms will show a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms, except where applicable law requires another form of consent.
